SHORT VERSION

In reverse chronological order.

I am still connected to a prestigious commercial consultant in Hong Kong, as a Consultant, and have been called back on several occasions in the last 3 years. However, work has declined somewhat in that locale lately.

I maintain my own licensed software including major pm systems (Primavera, Power Project, SureTrack, MSP, CA-SP, etc) and I carry my own PI insurance for Expert and claims work such as reports, analysis, tribunal attendance and the like.

Outline of Employment :-
Jan ’99 to Present.    Self employed. Claims and Expert works for UK and Hong Kong based commercial consultants, carrying out the work in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, U S of A. [Consultants in UK incl. KMS, BWS (Driver), GF Partnership, Project Planning, lately Keane Assoc' & MBM Consulting].

Jan 94 to Dec 98.    Hong Kong based. Own Planning Specialist company concurrent with directorship, i/c planning, in a prestigious commercial consultant.

Jan 93 to Dec 93.    Kuwait based. Set up and managed a Project Control department for an Italian company on an $ US 80.0 M petrochemical project.

Oct 86 to Oct 92.    Hong Kong based. Managed planning departments for two major contractors and managed the engineering and planning aspects of major claims for the second.

July 81 to Sep 86.    Iran based. Independent commercial consultant during the indigenisation period. Clients included BB & Cie, NIOC, NIPC, and other local government organisations.

Nov 79 to Jun 86.    Saudi Arabia, Jubail. Managed a Planning & secondary design department for a large Saudi Precasting Company on site on two large housing projects.

Feb 77 to Oct 79.    Iran based. Initially went to Iran to manage the civil works on a Sugar Factory in Khuzestan for a Dutch/German contractor and later managed their pre-engineered building operations in Iran until the changes to the establishment.

Aug 75 to Jan 77.    Planning Manager for Press Costain at St Fergus Gas Terminal. (1st 8 # Compressors).

Mar 67 to July 75    Progressed from Senior Site Engineer (Civils) with Cubitts to Agent with Willment Brothers Ltd
ending as Contracts Manager for Farrans Limited. Mainly heavy civil engineering works.

Jan 60 to Feb 67.    On leaving the RAF commenced as a draughtsman and progressed through structural detailer
to design engineer and finished as an RE Struct; all with a London based consulting engineer (Messrs Jenkins & Potter).
